DaG 319 Ureilite

• Dag 319 is a Ureilite group 3 found in the Saharan desert. This Ureilite is an olivine-pigeonite meteorite. It has a very high carbon content of 2%. Most of the carbon is in the form of graphite some in the form of diamonds. DG 319 is a group-3 Ureilite :has a polymict, brecciated structure suggesting a surface residence on the ureilite parent body. Diamonds and many yet unknown inclusions are good visible . Its structure is unique among ureilites.
